The pipe itself is a cute design but the carbon coating in the bowl was not properly applied resulting in grains of the material falling loose all over the place, leading to a hot smoke and not allowing for proper cake built up. Also the finish on the briar has little relevance with the product photo in which it appears glossy and shinny. In reality it is virtually non existent. The pipe came in a dull matte texture.
